Greetings! I'm a 24-year-old pianist with an unwavering passion for music, and I'm truly excited to have the chance to share this enthusiasm with you through teaching.
From the realms of Jazz to the Classical domain, I've not only listened to but also lived and breathed a diverse spectrum of music. I'm constantly on the lookout for new musical experiences, eager to explore and embrace the beauty of every genre.
In my early musical journey, I had the privilege of being mentored by the incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist, Alex Vega Florentino. Under his guidance, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the classical music world, spanning from the Baroque era to modern composers.
Currently, I'm dedicated to pursuing a career in Piano Jazz at Conservatory of Music of the State of Mexico, where my focus lies in honing my command over harmony, improvisation, and the development of my distinctive playing style. Being taught by accomplished instructors like Vladimir Alfonseca and Armando Velasco Morales.
Currently, I am the primary pianist and keyboardist for the David Banks project, a vibrant funk/rock group based in the State of Mexico
During my musical journey, I've taught people of all ages, from kids to adults, right in the comfort of my home in Metepec. Additionally, I've had the privilege of serving as a piano teacher at 'Studio Music & Arts, Academia Metepec'.
In my teaching, I emphasize both classical and jazz approaches. In the classical realm, I cover essential elements such as technique, reading (including solfege and rhythms), and live performance.
On the jazz side of things, I delve into various styles and the art of improvisation while also using classical technique to hone the student's ability to play.
The overarching goal of my classes is to help you discover and develop your unique musical voice. My aim is to equip you with the skills to express yourself confidently alongside fellow musicians.
