Dmitrijs Mihailovs

He is an active musician, composer and arranger. Together with his friend, he created Subtilu-Z in 2005, with which he released 5 CDs, one vinyl record, and filmed several video concerts. Also, he performed as a member of the group in Lithuania and abroad until 2020. During his musical career, he became a winner of various national and international competitions. He also participated in various festivals and concert tours, together with Subtilu-Z and represented Lithuania at international events and celebrations.

He formed the group U’Elements together with his friend in 2020. In 2021, together with the group, they composed and recorded the album "Warm White", and gave concert presentations of the album.

In addition, he graduated with a master's degree in pedagogy from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2012. For almost 10 years, he has been working at the Vilnius Music School where he teaches children to play the accordion. Since 2010 he has also been teaching adults to play this great instrument. During all this time he has gained lots of relevant experience, found ways to reach and work with many different kinds of students, and learned to adapt compositions to students at different levels of their accordion learning journey.
