About
I have been tutoring for more than 9 years now. I tried all kinds of employment statuses and worked with students from all ages as well as technical backgrounds.
I worked mainly online, and tried a variety of online platforms.
Throughout the years I developed a strong cultural awareness in teaching. I am open for every kind of challenge tutoring can give me. This includes preparing the most talented A level students for getting an A* in A level Chemistry consistently, but also preparing 13 year old disabled students the multiplication table step-by-step.
Recently, I have been specialising in preparing final year students for Chemistry and Physics A-level exams, using small group tutoring lessons.
Every time I can help someone overcome a particular hurdle, I receive a strong dopamine boost, which reassures me that I am doing the right thing. This is a forever-repeating occurrence that keeps me on the track all the time.
Furthermore, seeing my students achieving their goals in life and coming back to me with their success stories gives me an extra verification about the value of the work I do.
Teaching Style
I am more flexible and adaptable in terms of my methodologies. Throughout almost every single one of my lessons, my top priority is to customize and personalize the lesson to the students' specific needs. I have a handful of experience working with students with autism, ADHD, and various other types of personality disorders. Even though, making progress in these cases can be a lot more challenging, I have managed to do so a handful of times with great success.
I am very good at maintaining my enthusiasm, motivation and belief in the students' abilities at all times. What's more, I am proficient at recognizing the students' key strengths as well as weaknesses in full detail, very early on.
Curriculum
I focus on improving the students' weakest areas in the most effective manner. Maintaining engagement, dedication and joy are also always top priorities of mine. I tend to choose topics and sub-topics such that the are in line with the students' main interests.
For reading I find that most students have hard time spending extra time preparing, thus I tend to suggest to watch my videos in my facebook group.
