As a saxophone teacher, my approach focuses on evaluating the student's current level of playing and understanding their goals in order to tailor my lessons for their learning needs. I believe that every student is unique and may require a different approach, and therefore, I start by assessing the student's technical abilities, musicality, and style of playing. Based on their strengths and areas of improvement, I will create a flexible plan that gradually guides them towards achieving their desired level of skill. I will introduce them to new techniques, songs, and creative exercises to help make the learning experience both fun and challenging. Additionally, during each lesson, I will provide constructive feedback, encouragement, and support to motivate my students and help them improve their performance. Stillman College, Tuscaloosa Alabama, 10+ years Disney animal kingdom African band, 25+ years blues Brothers show Universal Studios, 2 years teaching Livingston University. I have 20+ years play at weddings, ballrooms, stadiums with various artist(The Coasters, Percy Sledge, Sam Rivers, etc) and as a solo performer I have
4 solo CDs plus Several CDs I’ve recorded with other artists. Also, 10 years of Theater shows in Meridian, Mississippi. I have performed at Carnegie Hall, House of Blues, Hard Rock, etc. I achieved top performer status on gig salad.
