Dóra Rusznàk
About
Hi! :)
My name is Dóra Rusznák Sabljo, and I am a professional violinist currently living in Croatia.
I studied violin in Hungary at the Széchenyi István University in Győr and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, and later completed my Master’s degree in Italy at the Conservatorio “E. F. Dall’Abaco” in Verona.
Since then, I have been working as a violinist in the orchestra of the Croatian National Theatre in Split, where I have the opportunity to perform regularly in professional productions. I feel very grateful that music is also my profession.
Alongside performing, I have always enjoyed teaching. It is something very close to my heart, because I love seeing students slowly gain confidence, improve, and find joy in playing the violin.
At the moment, I am at home with my small child, so I have decided to focus more on online teaching. This allows me to stay connected to music while also having a flexible and balanced daily life.
I speak both Hungarian and English fluently, and I am happy to teach in either language.
My goal is simply to create a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment where students can learn at their own pace and enjoy the process of making music
Teaching Style
I believe that music can be learned best in a relaxed, patient, and encouraging atmosphere, where students feel comfortable and motivated. My goal is to make learning the violin both enjoyable and natural, without pressure, but with clear and steady progress.
My teaching is highly personalized and adapted to each student’s needs and goals. I enjoy working with complete beginners as well as more advanced students of all ages.
