I have formally studied five languages in the past 20 years: Catalan, French, Spanish and Portuguese. My two native languages are English and Spanish. I was lucky that my parents insisted that I speak their first language: Spanish. I was so curious about Spanish and passionate about traveling to Spain, that I studied Spanish in high school, college and then pursued a Masters followed by a PhD in Spanish. I taught in colleges and high schools in the United States and in Spain. I still love traveling to Spain and I still love learning Spanish. Learning a language is a continual process. There is always more to learn. In order to maintain fluency, we need to speak the language frequently and be exposed to it often. I am here to help you to get that practice regardless of your age or knowledge of Spanish.

Whatever your goals are, I can empower you to achieve them. I have been teaching adults, teens and children professionally for 20 years online and in person. I am a continual language learner. My latest adventure has been studying Portuguese.
