I have been playing guitar since 1985 and successfully teaching full time since 2002. I have a very strong track record of helping consistently helping beginner to advanced guitarists get to their next level. Whether its learning to play, read music charts and tabs, technique or music theory, I can take you there if you are willing to put in the work.
Teaching Style
I am very hands on. We often jump right into songs and concept without waiting too long. Often students are surprised at how fast they are able to participate with songs and concepts that they thought were unattainable
Curriculum
I teach private guitar classes that are totally custom tailored to my students needs and abilities. We use songs as class material unless there is an exceptionally difficult concept that would require us to turn the concept into an exercise. Once there is success in the exercises I immediately try to get you back to using the concept in songs.
