Ell is an American record producer, radio host, engineer, and DJ who is most well known for his time spent playing in the United States and Europe for concerts and tours with the likes of Afroman, ASAP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T., Curren$y, Danny Brown, J. Cole, Joey Bada$$, Juicy J, KRS-One, Logic, Slum Village, Talib Kweli, Twista, Wale, amongst others. Ell co-hosts the longest-running (1988) North American Hip-Hop radio show 'Prop Shop' on WCBN-FM, and can also be heard on stations including Big City 101.3-FM Boston, WMBR Cambridge, and KSHI, NM. He has been a featured performer at events hosted by MTV, Vans, Red Bull, United States Democratic Party, United States Armed Forces, and festivals including Fallas (Spain), Imaginarium (Spain), Warped Tour (U.S.), alongside U.S. tours with Big Sean’s Finally Famous, Machine Gun Kelly/EST19XX, and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang.
Ell has presented college classes, workshops, lectures, and master classes at schools and organizations including the Berklee College of Music, Harvard University, MIT, Dark Horse Institute, Michigan Technological University, University of Michigan, and community youth centers across the United States.
I teach weekly public and private classes, workshops, college courses, and masterclasses on Audio Recording and Mixing, DJing and Turntablist, Studio Fundamentals, and Live Sound. These classes take place in person and online.
