About
I'm a flute and saxophone teacher with 6 years of experience teaching beginner to intermediate students of all ages. I have been playing flute for 15 years and saxophone for 12 years. I'm a University of Virginia alum, where I was recognized as a Miller Arts Scholar for classical flute performance. I believe in making music education enjoyable and stress-free. From beginners to intermediates, and classical to jazz enthusiasts, I offer a versatile curriculum to help students fall in love with music.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is centered around creating a positive, engaging, and personalized learning experience for each student. I focus on building a strong foundation through a mix of technical skills, musical theory, and creative expression, tailored to each student’s individual needs and interests. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I emphasize making lessons enjoyable and stress-free, with plenty of encouragement and support. My goal is to foster a love for music and help students achieve their personal musical goals.
