Hi! I'm Emily and I am a professional Musical Theater performer and teacher.
I am a proud member of the Actor's Equity union and have performed in Musical Theater productions across the country.
I've studied Acting and Voice for over 10 years at various reputable institutions and
gradated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music (CCM), with a BFA in Musical Theater. While I specialize in 'Broadway Singing', I have extensive knowledge of various other vocal styles having performed and taught both opera, classical voice, and even pop/rock!
In class with me, you can expect a fun and relaxed environment! I strongly believe that the only way to truly learn in through communication and collaboration-- meaning, I will always put the student first and really take into account your specific strengths and areas that present more challenges. We will start off each class with a 'daily goal', something you hope to make happen during your lesson and then we'll hit the ground running. Let's party! Together, we will collaborate and design lessons based on your personal goals and interests. I can't wait to work with you!
