Hi, I’m Eric, a guitarist with over 20 years of experience playing blues, rock, and metal. I’ve performed in original bands and as a solo artist, and I’ve spent years honing my craft as a self-taught musician. I understand how challenging and rewarding learning guitar can be, and I’m passionate about helping others unlock their potential.
Teaching Style
I provide personalized lessons tailored to each student’s goals and interests. Whether you’re a beginner picking up the guitar for the first time or an intermediate player looking to sharpen your skills, I’ll help you build confidence and reach your musical goals. My lessons focus on technique, music theory, and playing the music you love, with a structured but flexible approach.
Curriculum
My method is to approach each student individually and base our lessons on their interests and playing level. One thing that I consistently aim for is to connect the physical playing to the theory underlying it so that the student really understands what they are playing.
Credentials & Affiliations
Most of my credentials are outside of the music field. I have a masters degree in philosophy and bachelors. degree in psychology. I currently own and operate my own computer and cell phone repair business. I do have over 20 years of experience playing the guitar, including live stage performance and songwriting. I have been giving guitar lessons for the past 10 years as well.
