Greetings! My name is Ernesto Mercado and I´m a professional composer/producer from México with over 20 years of experience. Throughout my career I´ve worked as a live and session musician, producer, arranger, composer and mixing engineer. I´m really passionate and professional about music.

Have taught at Universidad Libre de Música (University), Fermatta (University), Sensorium (University), Musicalerías and Zamar Music.
Studied Jazz harmony and improsation with David Dominguez at Zamar music
Studied Film scoring at "Laboratorio de música para cine" with Juan Arturo Brennan and Eduardo Gamboa
Studied Supercollider with Alexandra Cárdenas
My teaching is based on goals, objectives and a personalized approach.
Goals: Do you want to learn songs? Improvise? To write songs? Improve your technique? The first step is to set clear goals and know what we are going to achieve in class.
Objectives: Once our goals are established, we will set clear objectives and a reasonable time window where we can obtain the best results possible.
Personalized learning: Not all students learn the same way. There are students who thrive under pressure and clear objectives, those who learn better while having fun, students that like to relax while learning, etc. Finding out what kind of student you are will allow us to achieve faster results.
