About

I am Felipe and im 28 years old, I graduated as a singer and pianist at Escuela de musica contemporanea (Berklee global partner) and later graduated from Berklee college of music in boston massachusets with a major in songwriting, im a profesional singer but i also play piano, synthesizers, saxophone, clarinet, guitar and a little bit of bass and drums. I have been doing music my entire life and i have also studied a few years at a conservatory  since i believe its important to have the knowledge of contemporary music theory (jazz) and classic traditional music theory as well. I also went to an artistic school and earn a full scolarship for the EMBA where i start studying when i was 15 years old. I have worked as a Piano Bar Entertainer for Cruises for the last 5 years, I have done a lot of musical direction for musical theatre plays such as Mamma Mia, The Wedding Singer, etc. I am a performer, arranger and producer, music is my life. I've been taking lessons since I was 10 and still keep on with them. I have given music lessons of all kind online, at schools in Argentina and at music academies and college in the united states.

Teaching Style

I usually craft and design the classes depending on the student since its important to know what approaches and interests does the student have towards music, but i have plenty of books, pdfs, going from beginner material specific to instruments or theory, sight reading, arrangements, harmony, chorales, etc, to intermediate and advance level material. Every student and every class is different, it brings me joy to teach someone who's eager to learn and I love the challenge of helping someone to become passionate about music and the importance of practicing it.

Curriculum

As I said before this pretty much depends on the instrument or type of class. But in general for beginners I craft my own materials for learning the instrument and music theory from level 0, it's important that they can practice and see the material from scratch as many times as needed.
