I am a collaborator on the Lessonface platform, a composer, arranger, performer, and researcher with a focus on Brazilian guitar.
A few details about me:
- My research specializes in developing methods for teaching music remotely.
- I have teaching experience at various levels:
(1) At the undergraduate level, as a guitar professor at UFES;
(2) In high school, as a conductor for a guitar orchestra;
(3) At a music school;
(4) Over 5 years of experience teaching guitar online/remotely. - I work with students from around the globe, including the USA, Canada, France, Germany, and various regions of Brazil.
I hold two degrees in music, a master’s degree, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on guitar teaching methods.

My teaching method emphasizes practicality, adaptability, and student-centered learning. Lessons are structured around the student’s individual goals, whether they aim to master specific pieces, refine technical skills, or explore improvisation and composition. I combine hands-on practice with targeted theoretical insights to ensure a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
Each lesson is interactive, encouraging students to actively participate and apply what they learn in real-time. Progress is tracked collaboratively, with regular feedback and adjustments to the curriculum to suit the evolving needs of the student.
