About
I am a highly qualified professional Musician and teacher in the UK. I have been performing since childhood and had my first students at the age of 16.
I have had some incredible teachers including flautist Keith Bragg and the composer Alan Bullard.
I teach in several UK schools and teach children as from reception up to 6th form.
I have worked as a soloist and in ensembles and teaching privately and in schools. I recently won the Milton Keynes most inspirational teacher award. My main aim is to give my students enthusiasm and motivation. By finding a personal goal for each individual student we can then strive together to achieve it.
Aswell as working towards exams, I am happy to teach students who wish to learn for pure pleasure or to learn a specific piece.

I tailor my lessons to each individual student so I use a variety of different teaching methods and texts. For piano lessons I am quite traditional and use many of the classics, including Czerny exercises and Bergmuller studies. For Flute I favour Marcel Moyse exercises and also Trevor Wye
Recorder includes Van Eyck and also modern studies by Linde.
