About

As a professional musician and educator with 30 years of performance experience, my mission is to help students unlock their full rhythmic and artistic potential through a holistic approach to music. Today, my strengths as an instructor lie in my ability to bridge the gap between rigorous classical discipline and the dynamic adaptability required in modern commercial music. In my lessons, I focus on helping you build technical precision, master advanced rhythm concepts, and develop your own creative voice. Additionally, because a well-rounded understanding of music is so valuable, I enjoy teaching multiple instruments and working with students who share an interest in becoming multi-instrumentalists.

This versatile mindset is a direct reflection of my own diverse career. I earned my degree from the Conservatorio de Música Astor Piazzolla, specializing in Percussion and Chamber Music. This formal training opened doors to elite classical environments, allowing me to serve as a timpanist and percussionist for the Academic Youth Orchestra of the Teatro Colón. From there, I transitioned into the demanding world of musical theater, performing in the orchestra pits of major Buenos Aires productions such as Next to Normal, Priscilla, Shrek and Come From Away. Currently, I am the permanent drummer for La desgracia—a long-running, critically acclaimed phenomenon—and I am also part of the musical team for Mamá está más chiquita, a deeply emotional and beautifully crafted hit show that demands extreme musical sensitivity.

Teaching Style

Every lesson is tailored to the individual. I teach everyone from absolute beginners to people with busy day jobs who just want to relax and jam for a while. Since I play piano, bass and guitar besides the drums, I often switch to those instruments to play along with my students. Most people come in with a main instrument in mind, but they always end up playing a bit of everything! I see music as a whole, and I love giving my students a well-rounded, comprehensive experience.

Curriculum

I adapt my teaching materials to each instrument and student, drawing from a variety of methods and books. However, my primary focus is always on real songs. That is why I lean toward methods that emphasize structure, harmony, and the interplay between different instruments.
