About
Most people don’t struggle because they lack talent—they’ve just never been shown how to control what they’re doing.
I’m a friendly, down-to-earth music coach with over 40 years of performing experience and 30+ years of teaching.
I trained at Berklee College of Music and the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts, and I’ve worked with musicians from New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, and beyond.
What makes my teaching different is simple:
👉 I quickly identify what’s actually happening and help you fix it
Most students come to me feeling stuck, inconsistent, or unsure what they’re doing wrong. I break things down into clear, practical steps so you can hear and feel improvement right away.
Every lesson is tailored to where you are right now, so you always know what to work on and why.
No confusion. No fluff. Just real progress and confidence.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and tailored to you in real time based on your goals and current level.
We focus on building strong fundamentals in a simple, practical way—then applying them directly to real music so you can actually use what you’re learning.
If something isn’t working, I don’t guess—I identify the issue and show you how to fix it so it feels more natural immediately.
Lessons may include:
- technique and control
- timing and coordination
- tone, consistency, and range
- applying skills directly to songs
You won’t be left wondering what to do—I guide you step by step so you leave each lesson with clear, actionable progress.
👉 I work with students who are ready to improve and get real results—no pressure, just progress.
Curriculum
My teaching method is based on quickly identifying what’s actually happening and helping you fix it in a clear, practical way.
We start by addressing any immediate issues so things begin to feel more natural right away. From there, we build strong fundamentals step by step and connect everything directly to real musical situations.
Each lesson is adjusted in real time based on your progress, so you’re always working on what will help you most.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I focus on giving you specific tools and exercises that you can immediately apply.
The goal is simple:
👉 understand what you’re doing
👉 fix what’s not working
👉 apply it to real music
This allows you to improve quickly while also building long-term control and confidence.
