About

Hello! I'm Gabriel Tato, a dedicated and seasoned violinist with a wealth of musical experience. Currently, I am honored to hold the esteemed position of a first violin in the State Opera of Ruse, Bulgaria. My musical journey has been enriched by a deep commitment to both performance and education.

In addition to my role in the opera, I have over a decade of experience as a violin instructor in professional conservatories and music schools in Spain. This extensive teaching background has allowed me to nurture the talents of numerous students while balancing engagements with symphony orchestras and opera productions on the international stage.

My commitment to musical education is further exemplified by my work as a violin professor. Alongside my orchestral and opera endeavors, I've had the pleasure of contributing to the growth of aspiring musicians in conservatories and schools across Spain.

My educational journey is complemented by the attainment of a Higher Degree in Violin, a testament to my dedication to continuous learning and mastery of the instrument.

My teaching philosophy is centered on more than just technical proficiency; it aims to instill a deep love for the art of music. Whether you're embarking on your musical journey or seeking to refine your skills, I am here to tailor the learning experience to your unique needs.

I am excited to share my expertise and embark on a harmonious journey with you. Let's explore the beauty of music together!

Teaching Style

To teaching the violin is as diverse as the beautiful range of notes this instrument produces. My classes are designed to welcome students of all ages and levels, as my teaching experience spans from young children to advanced adults.

My primary goal is to inspire and motivate my students as we explore the wonderful world of music together. I firmly believe that musical learning should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Technique plays a pivotal role in my lessons. To ensure a solid technical foundation, I incorporate well-known methods such as Suzuki, Sevcik, as well as scale and double-stops methods like those by Galamian and Flesch. Additionally, I use classic study books like Kreutzer and Dont to refine technical prowess.

I offer a wide variety of repertoire ranging from classical works by Bach to compositions from the 20th century. Moreover, if you have an interest in exploring different styles, we can even work on your version of that favorite pop tune of yours!

My approach is personalized and adaptable to your goals and musical preferences. Together, we can chart a curriculum that not only develops your technical skills but also nurtures your love for music. I look forward to embarking on this exciting musical journey with you!
