Hi! I’m Gabriel, a Colombian-Canadian composer and violist in my final year of a music degree at Dalhousie University. With over ten years of experience, I've had the privilege of performing across North America and Europe, including roles as principal violist for the Dalhousie Symphony Orchestra and the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. I’m passionate about helping young musicians discover the joy of making music and exploring their potential. With a strong background in composition, I bring a multicultural perspective to my teaching and love bridging different musical styles. I offer lessons in English, French, and Spanish.

My teaching style is compassionate, patient, and flexible, centered on each student’s unique needs and learning pace. I believe in creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself while building a solid foundation in music theory and technique. I’m here to help you find your unique sound, explore different music styles from around the world, and develop skills that feel inspiring and real. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up, I aim to make learning music both meaningful and enjoyable.
