About

Gonzalo Llanes Mena holds a Master’s degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Opera National Center, playing Opera, Musical Theater and Popular Music.

In 2014 he taught singing, both in English and Spanish, to students from Columbia and New York University in the “Musical Exchange” program organized by the International House NY.

He currently leads the “CANTO STUDIO”, where he teaches students in all styles including classical, musical theater, pop, country, rock, bolero, salsa and tango. He also prepares students for college and professional auditions. He coaches soloists and ensembles for recordings or special events.

His roster includes students from all levels and backgrounds, ages 10 to 75.

A 15 minute free trial class is highly recommended to listen to the student’s potential and set goals together.

My personalized lessons include concepts taught in the main World Singing Schools to develop a healthy vocal technique, both in popular and academic styles. I have studied in one of the most prestigious music conservatories in the world and I have performed a wide repertoire (from Opera to Rock) in recognized theaters and stages worldwide. I have the academic and professional experience to help my students achieve their goals, while they enjoy themselves.

Master of Music, Voice Major, Manhattan School of Music.
Choral Conductor, National Arts University, Buenos Aires.
