Grace Stagg
About
I am passionate about sharing dance with anyone who is looking to explore and express themselves in a new way. I believe movement is healing and lets us learn new things about ourselves. I'm eager to utilize my extensive training, patience, and enthusiasm to create a positive and nurturing environment where anyone can develop their skills, confidence, and passion for dance.
With over eight years of training in Los Angeles, I have had the opportunity to learn from many esteemed choreographers and teachers in various styles.
My training in various dance styles including hip hop, house, popping, freestyle, heels, dancehall, salsa, and bachata partner dancing has given me a well-rounded understanding of different forms of movement and expression.
With a never-ending passion for all things dance, I am consistently taking classes, freestyling, social dancing, and studying with a focus on quality of movement, connection, and performance.
Teaching Style
Versatile in various dance styles and modalities, I find what ignites each student and customize the lesson to their interests and needs.
Whether it is working on performance and choreography retention or gaining confidence in moving to music and finding the rhythm, I meet each student where they are and seek to encourage and support their growth.
My lessons start with a brief body warm up, a small follow along section and then move into our focus of the lesson. We conclude with a cool down and check in to address any questions and assign homework.
My class motto- Anyone can dance!
