Grant Miller
About
Grant Miller is a virtuoso guitarist from Winnipeg, Canada who has been teaching guitar professionally for more than ten years. He has a master's degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Arizona's prestigious Bolton Guitar Studies Program, and spent five years as a graduate teaching assistant at the UofA. In addition to classical music, Grant is an accomplished performer in nearly all other styles and has a comprehensive knowledge of theory, technique, repertoire and gear.
I teach whatever my students want to learn, and tailor my lesson plans to help them meet their goals. I have used many different methods over the years, and typically draw from several of these with additional support of well-known songs when designing a plan for a student. The most important aspect of my approach to teaching is my understanding that every student is an individual and needs their lessons to be as unique as they are.
