Teaching Style
I tailor my teaching style to each student's individual musical tastes and interests.
The students goals are absolutely the first thing to understand. Once we define those together, it's all about the songs! Whether it's teaching by example or composing together. That is the ultimate reason we play.
It should also always be about the songs! Whether they are composed by us or it is someone else's composition that we want to play.
Curriculum
The curriculum is established by the students goals, and it may include:
• Guitar technique
• Music theory
• Improvisation
• Composition
• Ear training
• Your goals and your vision as a musician!
