Hannah Penzner is a professional singer based in Los Angeles. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance in Spring 2018. Her final year at CSULB Hannah performed the solo Hear Ye, Israel from Mendelssohn's Elijah at the Celebrating Music Concert. In Spring 2019 she engaged in a performance with a Los Angeles Baroque Ensemble performing as Cupid in Venus and Adonis. For several years she has been a member Tonality, a professional choir focusing on social-justice issues, and in April 2020 she joined Seattle-based choir Chorosynthesis.
Hannah focuses on technique first and foremost. Once you learn the basics you can take any style and do it well! My goal is for you to be able to perform any type of music you want.
Regardless of the instrument you play, relaxation and breath is key. I will teach you the proper way to play your instrument so you can have a good time and avoid any injury. It always comes down to posture and breath, if you would like to get in touch I can go more in depth on what that means for each instrument.
