Dyeing
About
My name is Helen Boyle and I live with my husband Ed Asher on a small farm in north Georgia. We have a herd of angora goats that keep us busy and entertained. We got into raising the goats about eight years ago when my daughter was in 4-H. Our goats are three colors, white, grey and beige, and have a hoard of personalities. I shear the goats myself, and love to dye their fiber along with other wool and fibers to blend and create batts and rolag. I enjoy teaching the dye class as I can pass on my knowledge of different dyeing techniques. I encourage everyone to try the methods we cover in the class so they can also to experience the wonderful results.
