Teaching Style

My teaching style is catered to YOU! What do you want to work on? What are your goals for your musical experience? Whether you are a young student that enjoys flute as a hobby, or you wish to become the next James Galway, you will enjoy each lesson, and go home wanting to practice for the coming week!

Curriculum

My recommendations vary, just as my teaching style does, in order to cater to the specific student. I always recommend a solid warm-up and fundamentals exercise regimen for each student. If you wish to push yourself, we can work on Taffanel & Gaubert 17 Daily Exercises- with various tempi and articulation patterns; if you wish to simply be able to play the flute well, we will work on scales with beautiful tone, and various tone exercises from Marcel Moyse's Tone Development book. Lessons with me are really unique and designed to fit YOU!
