My name is Inbar, I'm a NYC based musician.
Origanally from Israel.
I've living in NYC for the last 4 years. I've preformed with many artists as well as lead my band in many venues including Birdland Jazz Club,Smalls Jazz Club and more.
I'm offering online music lessons- teaching piano,violin and bass for all level and ages!
I have 8 years of teaching expirience and I find joy in it.
My teaching methods are fun and engaging and I do my best to personalize my approach depending on the student's goals.
Music is my love and passion and I absolutely love teaching it.
Inbar Paz is an award-winning, New York-based jazz bassist and composer whose deep, versatile sound has been acknowledged by internationally acclaimed jazz musicians. A leading female bassist on the NYC jazz scene, Paz draws inspiration from a variety of music genres which help form her one of a kind style.
Paz has performed on prestigious stages in Israel and New York including Birdland, Smalls Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Minton's Playhouse, HaBima Theater, Red Sea Jazz Festival and many more.
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Inbar is a graduate of the prestigious Thelma Yellin High School of Arts and the Stricker Conservatory. She is also a recipient of the AICF Sharett Grant. Before relocating to New York. Paz was the principal bassist of the Israeli National HaBima theater, performing over 250 shows annually in leading productions such as My Fair Lady and Cabaret.
In 2012, Inbar performed at the international Red Sea Jazz Festival and was acknowledged of the jazz bass virtuoso Christian McBride, who praised her performance and urged the audience to “give it up to the bass player”.
In 2016, Inbar was granted the prestigious Alien of Extraordinary Ability in the Arts immigration status and moved to New York. Since her arrival, she has won the International Women in Jazz 2017 competition with her band- SIJ Trio and has been performing widely throughout NYC and the USA with leading jazz musicians such as Grammy award winner JC Hopkins, Grammy award nominated vocalist Nicole Zuraitis, Thana Alexa and others.
