Started in Hollywood, Ca, 1968. Was taught studio engineering by engineers at Capitol, Wally Heider's and RCA. A multi instrumentalist, session singer I found an early interest in production engineering working specifically for the publishing wings of Warner Bros and CBS Records.
Moved to Nashville, spent 40 years working in studios, Built a live recording mobile studio with full shore power and generator powering, assembling monitor mixers, wiring up a fully functioning professional mobile recording unit.
My engineering credits include Johnny Cash, John Prine, Nanci Griffith, Tracy Nelson, the National Geographic Society, Smithsonian Institute among several others.
I have had many artist record deals with several labels, a top 40 hit on Billboard Charts, and a long unfulfilled desire to pass along the things I'd try to steer any novice away from. If only for their careers to know of what pitfalls are out there. It'd be specialized, likely different from anything anyone would learn in a number of "teaching institutions". My goal is happiness for all concerned. If I fail, I'll return whatever fees were spent asking me. I'm fairly confident in my abilities.
