Jake France

Hi, I’m Jake France, a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and worship leader with the Dove Award–nominated group Vertical Worship. I’ve had the privilege of playing guitar on songs like “Yes I Will,” “Faithful Now,” and “Not Done Yet,” along with several others that have been sung in churches all around the world.

Through years of recording, touring, and leading, I’ve learned that great musicianship isn’t just about technique — it’s about connection, creativity, and heart. My goal as a teacher is to help you grow in all three.

I teach electric guitar, acoustic guitar, worship guitar, songwriting, and band leadership, specializing in modern worship, rock, and pop styles. As a guitarist who sings, I especially love helping students develop the coordination, timing, and confidence to play and sing naturally — while building a solid foundation of tone, rhythm, and expression.

My lessons are song-focused and practical, designed to get you playing real music quickly and growing in a way that’s fun, authentic, and encouraging. Whether you’re a beginner picking up the guitar for the first time or a worship leader refining your sound, I’ll meet you where you are and help you take your next step forward.
