Ever since I was a child I wanted to play guitar. I'd wake up to sound of my father playing and singing songs, until one day when I was 6, I ask my dad to teach me. 20 years later I'm still playing. I've done a lot over the years, played in many band, done session work and learned more instruments. Though currently, I play in a band called The Noolands, help run a worship team and have been teaching music over 5 years. I love every style of guitar and know how to play many of them; From folk to blues, Metal to classical. Learning is one of my favorite things as well as sharing knowledge and skills with whom ever is willing to learn.
My teaching style is very student driven. With an eclectic back round I can quickly adapt a lesson to a students wants and needs. Doing student driven lessons really helps motivate the student because they are always working on what they want at the pace they want. Each lesson is different and unique to that student base on there interest and learning style. Often I'm transcribing by ear or quickly finding notation or tab for songs students request. Harmonic analysis helps break down any song to its foundation and teach my student about theory, technique and progression. I love teaching because its also a learning experience for the teacher.
