About

Hello! My name is Jaron Barney and I'm an actor/singer in New York City. I've been working professionally as an actor for several years, and have been teaching since I was in High School. I returned last year from two years on tour with The Book of Mormon the Musical. Before that I worked reigonally as an actor. I have also performed as a concert singer on stages in New York City and all over the world. 

Teaching Style

My teaching style is very catered to the individual. i love getting to know my students and designing a curriculum based on specific desire and needs. I can work with an artist on song selection, vocal technique, acting choices, audition preparation and cutting music, tips and tricks for difficult notes, and full technical warmups to help you build strength as a singer. 

Curriculum

Texts, videos, voice memos will all be sent on an individual basis. You will be required to purchase your own sheet music and backing tracks for lessons. I can make rehearsal tracks for you as well but my time spent doing that will be charged the same as my face to face lessons. :)
