Hello!

Teaching music is my passion! I hold a bachelor’s degree in music, specializing in music education, from the University of Miami. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students of all ages—from elementary to high school—across various schools. My experience spans a wide range of musical styles, from classical to contemporary, allowing me to cater lessons to individual preferences. In private lessons, I take a student-centered approach, focusing on your interests and strengths to create a personalized learning experience. Outside of teaching, I stay connected to music by performing in my community, often singing and playing for local churches. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m excited to help you achieve your musical goals!

With private lessons I keep music studies very student centered (their interests for song/style selection) and go at a pace that works best for each student. I also have students reflect often on how they practice so they can better see how to improve in between each lesson. Since I have experience teaching a wide age range, I also take student's ages into account for pedagogy approaches in private lessons.
