I am mainly a bass player, but I love trying all sorts of different instruments, and I’ve focused a lot on uke and guitar as well. Now I have a Ubass attached to me constantly.
I earned my bachelors degree in music from UC San Diego, with a focus and jazz studies. I studied upright bass and jazz composition and piano there, and played along with performers of all types of genres. while I don’t list piano or singing because I am not an expert, I am able to teach beginners, and some advanced technique
I have a lot of international experience from traveling, which has exposed me to lots of types of music, and I’m game for anything!

I focus on constructively honing the student’s skills with a variety of traditional and spontaneous methods. My mentors taught me very well, and while I don’t subscribe to one specific technique, I synthesize what I’ve learned into a holistic collection of materials and methods.
