I am particularly skilled at helping students prepare for collegiate auditions and all-state/honor ensembles. As your teacher, I will work with you to reach your musical goals, while providing my world-class expertise to develop you into the best musician that you can be!
*NOTE* I have more availability than I currently list on Lessonface - if you would like to take lessons with me and don't see a time that works, reach out and I can add something custom for you!
As a musician, my true passion is for teaching others. I have extensive experience teaching several different instruments, in a variety of settings, from ages 10-85 and beginners to university music majors. I believe that students learn learn best in a supportive environment where they receive essential performance feedback, support learning how to practice, and have choices about the repertoire that they play. I believe that learning to play music should be fun, and I strive to keep lessons engaging while helping my students achieve the highest performance level possible. My extensive experience in both performance and education gives me a unique perspective on how to become an excellent performer.
