Jihye park holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Yeungnam University and she was appointed as a university lecturer at Yeungnam University, where she guided undergraduate students in piano performance. With over 16 years of teaching experience since 2007, she has successfully instructed students of various ages and skill levels in piano performance, music theory, and sight singing. Her dedication to fostering a love for music and her ability to create engaging and comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual students' needs have resulted in positive outcomes and student achievements.
Moreover, she has gained valuable leadership skills as the CEO of Jihye Park Piano Academy. In this role, she managed administrative tasks, student enrollment, and scheduling, while developing a comprehensive curriculum to cater to students at different levels. Her ability to lead and inspire a team of instructors has contributed to the success and growth of the academy. Additionally, she personally taught and mentored over 300 academy students, teaching them and helping them achieve remarkable progress.
As a dedicated educator, she has also contributed to the field of music education through her experience in pedagogy. She has extensive knowledge and experience in utilizing popular piano methods such as Piano Adventures and Piano Academia. She incorporates innovative teaching techniques, creative exercises, and interactive activities to enhance students' learning experiences and foster their musical growth.
What sets her apart is her extensive piano performance experience. She has showcased her talent as a solo pianist in two significant concerts. Her first piano solo concert, held in 2012, featured works by Bach, Beethoven, and Schumann. Building on this success, in 2014, she presented her second piano solo concert, performing pieces by Beethoven, Debussy, and Schumann. These performances demonstrated her technical prowess, musicality, and ability to captivate audiences with her interpretations. In addition to her piano performance, she has excelled as a piano accompanist to provide piano accompaniment for opera, "La Boheme," "L'elisir d'amore," and "Die Fledermaus".
Her teaching style is characterized by patience, encouragement, and a genuine passion for music. She strives to create a positive and nurturing learning environment where students feel supported and empowered to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Her ultimate goal is to instill a lifelong love and appreciation for music in her students while helping them develop as skilled and confident pianists.

For children, I utilize books such as Piano Adventures or Alfred, which provide a comprehensive curriculum tailored to their age and skill level. Additionally, I incorporate a variety of easy classical piano pieces and new age piano compositions to engage their musical interest and expand their repertoire.
When teaching adults, I rely on resources like Alfred's Basic Adult All-in-One Course Book and Adult Piano Adventures All-in-One Piano Course Book, which offer a structured and comprehensive approach to learning. In addition, I incorporate popular piano sheet music along with easy classical piano pieces and new age piano compositions, catering to their musical preferences and ensuring a diverse and enjoyable learning experience.
After each lesson, I provide students with valuable teaching materials: a detailed lesson note covering fingerings, musical phrasing, and discussed instructions, a summary video highlighting key lesson points, and personalized assignment notes with specific practice tasks and goals. These resources enhance learning, reinforce concepts, and empower students to make consistent progress.
