About

Growing up in a Christian family of musicians in Buenos Aires, music was already in my childhood an important part of my life. Early on I was introduced by my family to various musical styles and musical instruments. When I was 14 years old, I moved to Miami, Florida. At the age of 16, I began my apprenticeship as a church musician in the Segadores de Vida Church in Hollywood, Florida. I was extensively trained in music theory, music history, learned to play a variety of instruments, such as guitar, bass, piano and received intensive singing lessons and ear training. During this training, I also gained stage experience for audiences up to 10,000 people and expanded my ability to write lyrics. After my time as a church musician, I started to get into audio production, gained studio experience and wrote my own songs. As a solo musician and permanent member of the band Carly Jo Jackson, I regularly performed in concert halls, hotels, bars, convention centers and more. I worked as a band director and guitarist for Manu Manzo, a Latin Grammy nominated artist, and performed in the music video "Wildthoughts" by Rihanna and DJ Khaled. Recently, due to my stay in Brazil for several months, I have been more intensively involved with the different styles of Brazilian music and have been trained in the Casulo Cultural Center in Dourados, where I participated in various workshops, such as Brazilian singing, Brazilian Bossa Nova and Brazilian guitar.

Teaching Style

As a stage-experienced musician and multi-instrumentalist who can handle guitar, bass, percussion as well as piano and drums and can offer various styles of music such as Latin, Rock & Pop as well as Jazz, Soul and Bossa Nova, I can offer my students music lessons, which are not only based on theoretical principles, but put above all the fun and the passion for music in the foreground. My classes help my students understand the artistic authenticity and originality by teaching them the tools and exercises that make up a "real" musician.  I teach the theoretical basics to understand grades and practical tips to get results as fast as possible. For the singing lessons I show above all very important breathing exercises.

Curriculum

Certified teacher/ qualified church musician -  with more than 13 years experience as a musician & music producer and more than 10 years of teaching experiences

As part of my training as a church musician in the Segadores de Vida Church, I was introduced to musical teaching and the design of music lessons and workshops. Furthermore I have a certificate in Christian leadership. Part of this training was to teach and to learn how to lead groups. My qualification as a teacher is also based on many years of teaching experience with a variety of students. Already at the age of 17, I regularly began to teach different instruments, including guitar and piano, and also to give singing lessons. Since July of this year, I teach different students every day. In addition, since September of this year, I have been working as a teacher for a homeschool in New York, where I teach up to five different children every day in Spanish and guitar. Recently, due to my stay in Brazil for several months, I have been more intensively involved with the different styles of Brazilian music and have been trained in the Casulo Cultural Center in Dourados, where I participated in various workshops.
