Hello! I'm a professional drummer and drum instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience, including 4 years teaching in schools and 6–7 years of private instruction. I hold a Trinity Grade 8 certification in drums and have extensive experience performing and teaching a wide range of musical styles.
As an active musician, I currently perform with a math rock band and an indie pop band, and regularly play live shows across India. My experience as a working drummer allows me to bring practical, real-world insights into every lesson.
I welcome students of all ages and skill levels from complete beginners picking up sticks for the first time to experienced drummers looking to refine their playing. My goal is to help every student build strong musical foundations, develop confidence behind the drum kit, and achieve their personal musical ambitions.

Teaching Style
My teaching philosophy is centered around the individual student. Every drummer has different goals, strengths, and challenges, so I tailor my lessons to suit each person's needs. Whether you're looking to develop solid fundamentals, improve technique, build coordination, learn songs, understand groove and timing, prepare for exams, or become a more confident performer, I create a personalized learning path designed to help you progress efficiently and enjoy the process.

As a performing musician, I am currently affiliated with the bands The Western Ghats and Sei Hek, and have previously toured extensively as the drummer for Sitar Metal. In 2019, I completed a nationwide album launch tour with Sitar Metal, performing across major music venues and prominent college festivals, including several IIT campuses throughout India.
My recording credits include drums on “Dream Sequence” (2025) by Deeparshi Roy, the recording of “Like in Monochrome” (2025) with Sei Hek, and an upcoming Sei Hek single scheduled for release in 2026. I have also completed drum tracking for the forthcoming full-length album by Hulo (Aditya Majumdar), scheduled for release later this year.
In 2025, I performed at NH7 Weekender with The Western Ghats, one of India’s most recognized contemporary music festivals, further expanding my experience as a live performer on major stages.
Alongside my performance career, I have been actively involved in music education. I served as a Drum Faculty Member at Torrins India for three years, conducting drum instruction programs for students at EuroSchool, Airoli, and Billabong High International School, Malad. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, technical proficiency, musicality, and long-term growth tailored to each student’s individual goals.
