Joel Lobato

Hi there! My name is Joel, and I've been a musician ever since I could climb up on a piano bench. I started tinkering around on a piano at just 3 yrs old, and here I am offering lessons! I grew up in church and learned from teachers who became my dearest friends, fellow musicians with gifts far greater than mine, and professionals who shared their heart for music.  I've been a church pianist/accompanist, men's quartet pianist, composer, etc for the majority of my life, and I would love to share what I've learned with you!

My teaching style conforms to how you learn. We all learn in a different way, and I would rather make slow, steady progress with the student enjoying the lesson rather than quick rushed "progress" that might leave the student burnt out.
