Jonathan Sorrell’s musical career began aged 8 when he joined the world renowned St Paul’s Cathedral Choir in London, which he sang in for 5 years.  He went on to read music at Goldsmiths’ College, London University, specializing in composition & recording technology.  He has composed numerous TV themes & jingles, and worked with some of the world’s leading producers & artists.  His teaching is a way to pass on some of his experience and knowledge, whether it be introducing young people to the joys of music or working with more advanced learners.

I have been teaching in many fields of music for over 20 years, from early sacred music to contemporary dance/fusion and eveything in between.  I adapt my teaching style according to pupils' requirements, whether it be exam preparation or simply learning for fun.  The most important factor for me is to inspire through my teaching and help to share the joy of music with others.
