About

Clarinetist Andy Cho is an active orchestral and chamber musician.  He has previously held Principal Clarinet positions with Princeton Symphony Orchestra, New Mexico Philharmonic and Allen Philharmonic Orchestra in Texas. He has appeared as guest principal clarinetist with many of the orchestras throughout the US and Canada such as Boise Philharmonic, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Hamilton Philharmonic, Modesto Symphony Orchestra, Quad City Symphony Orchestra and Windsor Symphony Orchestra.

Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Temple University, Masters of Music from the University of Southern California, and Professional Studies Certificate in Orchestral Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. He has been a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and has participated in Aspen Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Festival, National Art Centre’s Young Artist Program, National Orchestral Institute, Sarasota Music Festival, and Atlantic Music Festival.  His primary teachers include Wes Foster, Ricardo Morales, Yehuda Gilad, Michele Zukovsky, and Anthony McGill.
