Hey there! My name is Jose. I am a music producer with a degree from Berklee College of Music in music production. I have years of experience making music for multimedia. I have made music for various radio, TV, videogames (Kingdom Rush) and film (The Glassworker) projects. I have produced music for Peruvian and international brands such as Toyota and Nikon. Besides that, I also produce music for independent artists.
As a producer for media, I have to be versatile, so I have a lot of experience producing different styles of music. I have produced music in the genres of Rock, Pop, EDM, trap, orchestral, various Latin styles, and more.
I have 2 years of experience teaching music production and bass guitar to private students. I have mentored my students in the areas of composition, production, recording, and mixing. Additionally, I have done masterclasses in music production for visual media at the University of Lima in Perú.
All skill levels are welcome!
I have a practical approach to teaching. We will not just talk about music production, we will compose, produce, and mix together. I like to have a two way conversation with my students. During our lessons we will break down the production process so it can be easily understood and I will show you all the tools and techniques necessary to make great music. We will work with music you have made and I will also provide sessions, stems and other material for class.
We will determine what you want to learn, we will set goals and I will help you achieve them.
