Jose Rodolfo

Hello! My name is Jose Rodolfo. But I'm usually called Rodolfo. I'm a guitarist from Dominican Republic with a lot of love for music. I'm 23 years old and I've been playing since I was 10. I got hooked on guitar right there and then. I mostly like to play rock, metal and jazz. But since I began leaning music production at 16 I started to listen to a lot of electronic music. And my goal ever since has been to link guitar playing with electronic music. Currently I'm majoring in Contemporary Music at UNPHU (Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña). A university located in my hometown Santo Domingo.

When I began college I began to teach at Escuela de Musica Triada (Triada Music School). A music academy that aims to teach music to people of all ages. So there I developed my teaching style. Which consists mainly on getting to know the student's skill on the instrument personal taste in music. From there I teach them the songs from artists they like so they can be motivated to continue. If there's a song with a particularly dificult technique I develop an excersise that showcases that technique. I also teach music theory (depending on the student) in small chunks, they do not become overwhelmed.
