Joshua Bedell
About
I have been teaching chorus on Long Island for 24 years, and privately for about 26 years. I went to the Crane School of Music for undergraduate and Aaron Copeland School of Music for graduate work. I play piano, arrange, write, classical, jazz, pop, rnb, Latin and world music. I teach theory, GarageBand, Logic Pro, jazz theory, and anything else that relates to music. I enjoy teaching since it keeps my mind busy and young. I love what I do and haven't worked a day in my life!
Teaching Style
I use a variety of teaching styles, depending on the student. There isn't just one teaching style since everyone learns at a different pace. There are many different types of learners so I have to adjust accordingly. Humor is a great way to learn and mistakes are always allowed.
Curriculum
There is scribd, gmajormusictheory, music theory.net for useful resources. Faber and faber, nyssma manual.
