About

Hello! I’ve been playing the piano since I was 7 years old and since then, it never stopped being my passion. After many years of studying, I obtained my  Master's degree in music at Faculty of Music in Belgrade (Serbia) and a lot of experience in both performing and teaching the piano. I’ve held concerts as a soloist and in different ensembles in almost all main concert halls in my country. I’ve gained experience teaching the piano for two years in a music school, working with children aged from 6 to 15. During that time I tutored them to prepare repertoires for exams, concerts and competitions. Beside being a teacher, I’ve been giving private lessons for 5 years now, working with a wide spectrum of ages, going from children all the way to adults.

While studying the piano, from my personal experience, I understood that the role of the teacher is essential and has a grand impact on the student. In my opinion the relationship between the two is as close and as important as coach-athlete relationship in any sport. That is why I am constantly in search of a better approach in order to achieve results. Teaching piano requires many different angles depending on the student you have in front of you. That is a challenge, but more importantly it is the beauty of this profession. I love finding new ways to inspire students to improve their level of playing and deepen their knowledge. Of course, there are some bases that I like to follow, such as playing scales and etudes, and some polyphony when possible, but everything else is individual. I always try to make my lessons as interesting and as fun as possible, while making sure we’re not missing on any technical parts and goals we have.

All in all, if you’re a beginner or an advanced player, adult or young, you can expect creative and inspiring lessons!
