About
Hi I am Julian and I am a Singer, Songwriter, and Guitarist with 15 years of experience solo performing and performing in groups. I drew inspiration from passionate artists and my foundations are rooted in musical dramas, pop, rock, and metal genres. I teach the fundamentals of guitar playing as as well unique areas such as how to learn songs by ear, personal songwriting technique, and performing arts. My motivation for teaching lies in helping beginners who were just like me and started at square one, and with a passion for music and ambition to make music, become the best players they can be.
Ever since I was a young boy, I knew that I had a deep connection to music, and as I grew older that connection fostered into a life purpose, joy, and responsibility.
One of my life purposes is to share my love of music through covers and original songs. However, later I discovered it is also my responsibility to teach the next generation of artists, musicians, and songwriters so that others may go on to achieve their personal fulfillment, potential, and destiny.
I teach everything you need to get started with playing guitar and then move onto intermediate skills, and close with songwriting and performing arts. I teach in a simple and digestible, yet logical way. The program length depends on how much the student practices and advances. Once the program is complete you will have the core skills needed to learn and play along to your favorite songs by ear, read chord tablature, read guitar tablature, make your own songs, continue to improve on your own, and perform live. Although we will reference music theory throughout the program, I do not focus on teaching advanced music theory or how to sight read traditional sheet music. If the student completes the program and would like to then focus on sight reading I will refer them to a teacher experienced in that area.
My areas of focus: melody, rhythm, counterpoint, harmony, form, tonal systems, scales, tuning, consonance, dissonance, durational proportions, composition, performance, ornamentation, and improvisation.

I graduated from Miami Dade College in 2017 and then attended Florida International University. I have been teaching guitar privately for 2 years and at Miami Berpro Music Academy for one year. I write my own music and record them (self relased EP in 2019 called "Burning").

Step by step, cumulative, and all information taught takes time to master but once mastered it recycles back into itself.
