About
My musical journey started at the age of 4. I was introduced to the Suzuki Method by a sweet French woman who moved to our tiny town. I went on to take violin lessons from various teachers for 20 more years. During some of that time, I joined youth orchestras, local symphonies, and had my violin by my side as I traveled around the world. I have enjoyed meeting many amazing musicians along the way! I am currently a teacher at the Boynton Beach School of Music and Dance and I specialize in teaching my violin students the Suzuki Method. I adore this method because of the strong ear training in the early stages that I strongly feel contributes to being an improvisational musician. It also allows children to start learning this difficult instrument at a young age. As well as teaching privately, I am in a 5 piece band that is rated one of Orlando's top wedding bands. We perform for special events and weddings all across central FL. I am excited to use LessonFace as a platform to engage with students of all skill levels!
Teaching Style
I am a very fluid teacher, I try to make each lesson structure fit the needs and goals of the students while maintaining a common goal of proper training.
Curriculum
Suzuki Method is the foundation of my training, however I love to include many other texts and training to create a repitiore myself and my student is proud of.
