Aloha mai!

I have played piano since the age of 4, and have taught piano for the last 4 years here in Hawai'i. I have worked with ages from 4-64, and curate my lesson style depending on you or your child's unique music goals.

I believe that music first and foremost is a means through which we are able to express our deepest selves. Theory, technique, all of that is important, but it is meaningless if it is not in support of us expressing our soul. It is a way of connecting to yourself and to the world like no other.

I cater my teaching style to what it is you wish to develop with music, and how much musical background you have. If you have basic understandings and wish to learn how to improvise and compose, we can do that. If you are new to music, it is important we learn some basics of music while we also develop our own unique sound and expression.
