Kaitlyn has a growing private piano studio and has been teaching piano since 2013. Kaitlyn’s teaching style is exploratory and student centered. She focuses on a holistic learning approach that accounts for our mind-body connection and encourages students to follow their interests. As a result, each student ends up with a unique and individualized lesson plan to help develop their overall musicianship. Her favorite thing about teaching is learning what approach resonates with a student the best.

With her training in the Taubman approach, Kaitlyn is committed to helping her students develop strong piano technique, intentional listening skills, and overall artistry. Additionally, students will go in-depth with music notation, rhythm, tone production, interpretation and theory during lessons. Kaitlyn enjoys working with students of all ages and skill levels and looks forward to finding ways to foster a lifelong love of music. Kaitlyn is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and is currently pursuing MTNA Professional Certification.
