About
After graduating in 2014 with my bachelor's in education, I continued my lifelong passion for music. Since the age of 8 I have been involved in professional theater ranging from ensemble to leads, and even choreography! I've taught music for the last 10 years and have sent many students to success in state and national championships for solo voice and choral applications.
Teaching Style
If you want the skills to kill it on stage, no matter what that talent is, I'm your best bet! I've done numerous professional productions and taught hundreds of people how to have a stage presence that draws attention the right way. With my theater technique courses you'll learn to project from the diaphragm, deliver meaningful monologues, and nail those 32 audition bars. Can't read music? That's Okay! Many people can't, but I can't wait to show you how. Trouble Sightreading? Been there! I'll help you navigate the finer points of reading. If you're not nervous, you're not ready! Let's crush this audition and have fun doing it!
Curriculum
I use solfege and modern sightreading technique. Suggested books are Musical Theater Anthology for your specific voice type.
