TOURING WITH HAMILTON THE MUSICAL! I have been pleased to serve as percussionist for Hamilton for 5 years! Originally a drum set player with many Broadway touring credits, I LOVE teaching anyone who wants to learn drums and percussion! Along with touring, I'm in school working on a second Bachelors degree (Kinesiology), so I not only teach the fundamentals of drums and percussion, but I also teach you how to keep your body happy and healthy while playing!
I have been playing for well over 25 years and teaching for over 15! I have experience in most anything and everything related to drums and percussion, so whatever you want to learn, we can do it! Musical theater...of course! Drum covers....DEFINITELY! Hand percussion....YES!! Orchestral percussion....TOTALLY! I am available for all your drumming and percussion wants!
In our lessons, I provide a fun atmosphere with a tailored lesson plan according to your desires! You can get as little or as much as you want out of our lessons. We design the program together! I guarantee you will come out having learned valuable information after each lesson and your abilities will progress at a ROCKIN' pace! I will assign method books and exercises for home learning as well!
Currently touring with Hamilton: An American Musical.
Taught for 6 years at the world renown Bentley's Drum Shop in California.
Past touring Broadway productions include: Annie, The Producers, Guys and Dolls, Bring it On: The Musical.
Performed with bands such as: Los Hooligans, Back to Black, Distrito Torre, SirenSinging, Pocket Money, and Souled Out.
Graduate of Roosevelt School of the Arts and Fresno City College.
Member of the Local 802 AFM.
Depending on your goals, I have a plethora of method books that I can assign! It depends on what you want to learn!
